Sharjah has appointed Mohammed Obaid Al Hosan Al Shamsi as Secretary-General of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) through an Emiri Decree issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi , Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. Formation of the Sharjah Sports Council
His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi issued an Emiri Decree officially establishing the Sharjah Sports Council. The Decree names Sheikh Dr Khalid bin Humaid bin Saqr Al Qasimi as Chairman of SSC, providing strategic leadership for the council’s initiatives.
Eight additional members have been appointed to form the council’s governing body:
