Fresh off the back of the mammoth Steam Autumn Sale, Valve is back with another major promotion, this time centred around horror games.
The 2025 Steam Scream Fest has an October 27 start date and a 5pm GMT UK release time. It's not a particularly lengthy sale, running for just one week until November 3.
Still, if you're looking for some discounts on horror games for Halloween, then the Steam Scream Fest should be your first port of call.
Needless to say, the Steam Scream Fest will primarily feature discounts on spooky games.
As you can see from the trailer below, confirmed discounts include The Quarry, Project Zomboid, DayZ, Arizona Sunshine and The Forest.
Fans can also expect discounts on the likes of Resident Evil, Dead Space, Alan Wake, Five Nights at Freddy's and more.
In fact, some spooky games have been discounted early. At the time of writing, Dead by Daylight is down to just £5.99, while Telltale's The Walking Dead Definitive Edition costs £4.19.
Elsewhere, Blasphemous 2 is reduced to £9.99, Mouthwashing costs £7.19 and The Outlast Trials is available for £10.05.
If you have a Steam Deck, then be sure to check out the Verified section of the imminent sale for a list of games that are most compatible with the handheld.
