Chris Robshaw's wife has taken aim at Craig Revel Horwood after the former rugby player was booted from Strictly Come Dancing following his "year from hell". The 39-year-old was axed from the BBC competition alongside his professional partner Nadiya Bychkova, after landing in the bottom two with Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.
Judges Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas voted to save Chris, while Motsi Mabuse chose to keep Balvinder, 46, in the competition. That meant Craig, 60, had the deciding vote after the show introduced a new rule: if the result goes to deadlock, a different judge makes the final decision each week. Opting to save Balvinder and Julian, Chris and Nadiya were sent packing. After the results show aired, Chris' wife Camilla Kerslake took to Instagram to praise her husband for bringing their family joy and lasting memories during an especially difficult year.
She began: "We are so proud of you @chrisrobshawrugbyYou will always be our champion. The show has given us some amazing family memories to cherish forever. You have bought us so much joy doing Strictly.
"It's been a year from hell, but like always, you continue to put your family first, and show up for us even in the toughest times. Thank you for being our forever winner, you are our boys world (including Rico), and the best human."
Camilla continued: "To see you thriving, and living your best life in sequins, has been brilliant. We know how hard you trained, and how much you loved this experience. We are so proud of you. And the boys will always mark you a ten for being the best daddy. You are good enough, and we love you. Forever our winner."
She finished with a light-hearted jab at the Strictly judge, saying: "P.S. Craig - BOO to you."
Speaking to presenter Tess Daly after his exit, Chris said: "I've loved it. I've had an amazing partner. For me, coming onto this journey, I had no confidence. To be told I had world class qualities on the dancefloor today, even though we have to go home, that's amazing to hear so thank you very much. It's given me such confidence.

"To my partner Nadiya, I'm sorry. But it's been an amazing journey, she's been a brilliant teacher, I've developed so much, and it's been a great ride - so thank you."
When asked by Tess what she'd like to say to Chris, Nadiya added: "Chris, I have had a few wonderful weeks with you and I saw all the qualities that made you the captain of your country.
"To watch you [go] from a non-dancer and non-performer [to then] blossom, improve and develop. On Friday night when we were here rehearsing, you told me that you couldn't wait to perform on Saturday and that's the best confirmation that you have got that feeling and that love for dance - and that means the world.
"Sometimes on this show you win by getting a glitterball, but I feel this year I won just getting you as my partner. So, thank you so much."
