Tom Daley has said the "difficult" aspect of Celebrity Traitorswas the fact that contestants already knew each other.
The Olympic diving champion featured in the current series of the BBC programme but became one of the earliest casualties of Traitors Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.
The present series marks the first celebrity edition, with participants in previous seasons strangers to one another. Tom suggested that filling the castle with famous personalities meant people already had some knowledge about each other and how they might approach the game.
He told Metro that the stars seemed to have a "preconceived notion" of what each other were like and that there was "no chance of changing people's first impression."
"It was hard to go into it and be known for anything less than being competitive, being a sportsperson, being somebody who wants to win, all of that," said Tom, 31.
"So it was probably the difficult part of the celebrity version, that people already have some kind of idea of how you might play the game."
Tom - who shares two children with his filmmaker husband Dustin Lance Black - confessed that he would jump at the opportunity to return to Ardross Castle for another attempt on the programme, reports the Daily Record.
"I'm ready for my invite," he admitted, adding that his "inbox is open".
So far, four stars have been eliminated from Celebrity Traitors, which is presented by Claudia Winkleman.

In a shocking twist, Paloma Faith was eliminated when Alan was given the task of killing someone in plain sight by touching their face after first rubbing a 'deadly' flower. Despite their real-life friendship, the comedian chose to eliminate the singer, leaving many viewers stunned.
Following this, YouTube sensation Niko Omilana and EastEnders actress Tameka Empson were ousted after intense roundtable discussions. Both celebrities found themselves under scrutiny when their fellow Faithfuls mistakenly identified them as Traitors.
"I can't believe I'm out so quickly," admitted a shocked Niko upon his elimination, while Tameka appeared taken aback when Claudia announced her departure.
Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One.
