Jaipur: As the festival of Diwali approaches, winter is also arriving. The effect of cold is gradually increasing. During the day, many districts experience sunshine. In such a situation, due to the cold winds coming from North India, the effect of cold is felt more at night. On Friday, Sikar of Shekhawati was the coldest. The minimum temperature of Sikar was recorded at 14.5 degrees Celsius. Although the temperature on Friday increased by 0.9 degrees Celsius compared to Thursday, Sikar remained the coldest.
Where did the temperature drop and where did the mercury rise?
These days, there is a rise and fall in the temperature. In many cities, the day and night temperature has risen, whereas there are many cities where a fall in day and night temperature has been recorded. The temperature of Jaipur fell by 0.9 degree Celsius, whereas a fall of 1.6 degree Celsius was recorded in Karauli. Jaisalmer, Phalodi and Anta Baran recorded a fall of 0.4 degree Celsius. Most of the districts were such where the night temperature increased. However, this increase was only from 0.1 to 1.0 degree Celsius.
Diwali nights will be coldAccording to a report released by the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, the weather is expected to remain dry in the coming days. Cold winds are expected to cause temperatures to drop further. Night temperatures are expected to drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius during the festival of lights. The Meteorological Department says that winter has arrived early this year, but the effects of the cold will gradually increase.
