Emmerdale viewers 'rumble' Kev's big secret that could lead to Aaron 'showdown'

Emmerdale's Robert Sugden can't catch a break at the moment. The soap icon may have finally rekindled his romance with ex Aaron Dingle, but he's yet to tell him that he's secretly married to Kev - who he wed in prison.

This week's spoilers revealed that Robert (Ryan Hawley) is in for a shock when he visits Kev (Chris Coghill) in prison, with the convict dropping some huge news on his estranged husband. In next week's episodes, fans will watch as Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) gets frustrated with her brother after learning that he still hasn't told him about his secret husband Kev.

Meanwhile, Aaron (Danny Miller) moves back into the flat he shared with killer John and asks Robert to stay with him - further annoying Victoria. Although he's hoping for a fresh start with Aaron, Robert visits Kev in prison and receives some shock news.

Viewers will need to tune in next week to find out, however some are convinced that they've worked out what ill Kev has to tell Robert - and what this means for couple Robron.

One fan suggested that Kev's secret is that he's not actually dying and doesn't have an inheritance to give to Robert, who was staying in touch to receive his fortune. "Kev probably not dying and has no inheritance," they wrote on X.

"Kev is very possessive of Robert and he will be angry. I can see an Aaron & Kev showdown. Kev is a tall masculine man he isn't going to be intimidated by Aaron."

Another wrote: "Kev might not be dying." A third lamented: "So K**b is getting out (we know that already from the articles) and he is most likely not dying. Just wonderful #robron."

A fourth wrote: "watch kev suddenly say he's cured and not dying i can't do it." However, others are certain that Kev's news might be that he's being released on compassionate leave.

"So we all think kev is getting early release for his health right? and thats when all of roberts hiding blows up because he will have nowhere to go but to robert?" another fan wrote on X. "or hes not dying and isnt going to be gone within 6 months?"

Another writes: "so what robert lies about is going to meet kev. well, I thought it'd be something worse tbh. I think kev is either not dying or it's worse than they'd thought so they're letting him out on compassionate leave????"

Earlier this week, Bradley Johnson (who plays Vinny Dingle) revealed that Kev's Chris Coghill left him "in tears" with his portrayal of the criminal. ""You know what, he's a great character," he told The Mirror.

"He's such a funny character. I can't give anything away but there's a scene we filmed recently and it was so fun to film. I couldn't get through it there were tears streaming down my eyes. My shoulders were going. The audience are going to love it, that's all I can say but it's brilliant."
