Manchester Unitedhave been handed a Bryan Mbeumo boost during the October international break. The Cameroonian, who moved to Old Trafford from Brentford this summer for a huge £65million, plus an additional £6m in add-ons, has hit the ground running under Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim.
The forward, who netted 20 times in the Premier League last season, has already chalked up two goals and an assist across all competitions. Mbeumo has been a constant presence on the pitch, playing the full 90 minutes in all but one match so far in the 2024/25 campaign.
The 26-year-old is currently representing his country, Cameroon, where he's continued to showcase his impressive form. The former Troyes ace came off the bench to find the back of the net against Mauritius in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday.

Despite only being on the pitch for 13 minutes in his country's 2-0 triumph, Mbeumo managed to score, with Red Devils goalkeeper Andre Onana, currently on loan at Trabzonspor, keeping a clean sheet.
News of Mbeumo's goal and his limited game time will be music to Amorim's ears. Having one of his standout performers not overly exerted can only be a positive for United's beleaguered head coach, while the fact that Mbeumo found the back of the net in his brief stint on the pitch is a bonus for his confidence too.
Amorim will now be crossing his fingers that one of his star attackers comes through unscathed in Cameroon's next match - a home clash against Angola on Monday. United will be hoping Mbeumo returns fit and firing for the Premier League showdown with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, October 19.
Regardless of what transpires during this international break, United are aware that Mbeumo is almost certain to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations, kicking off in late December. Amad and Noussair Mazraoui are also expected to take part in the tournament, which spans from December 21 to January 18.

Mbeumo has recently defended Amorim's contentious 3-4-2-1 formation at United, insisting it's not the root cause of the team's ongoing struggles under the Portuguese manager.
The Red Devils managed to secure a much-needed 2-0 victory against Sunderland before the international break, but they currently languish in 10th place in the Premier League and were ousted from the League Cup by Grimsby Town.
"It's a little different for me," he confessed to Sky Sports. "I've played this system in the past as well.
"Obviously, we hear a lot of things, but it's our responsibility to find the good things and to be better.
"I don't think there is anything about this system, it's just us and improving in certain areas."
