BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans are gearing up for one of the most exciting weeks of the show - Movie Week. Tonight (October 11), the pros will be doing a special group dance based around the video game Minecraft and the Minecraft movie, while the contestants will be taking to the dance floor with dances soundtracked by songs from the world of film.
The BBC has confirmed which songs and movies will be featured - and Strictly fans can look forward to everything from The Sound of Music, to The Devil Wears Prada and even the Barbie movie. But there's one thing many fans have been left baffled by - the choice of song and movie for social media influencer George Clarke.
During the results show on Sunday, October 5, his dance partner Alexis Warr revealed they would be taking on a very trendy song for their upcoming performance - Soda Pop from the Netflix film K-Pop Demon Hunters.

The 25-year-old didn't appear to know the film or song in question, and hilariously replied: "Yes... That's fantastic news," which prompted laughter from his co-stars.
Speaking on his Useless Hotline podcast, which he hosts with fellow influencer Max Balegde, Alexis said: "His reaction was hilarious." George replied: "It's very accurate to me."
They continued to discuss the song choice on the podcast, with George saying: "It's just crazy, you know... I get the producers vibe with this. Get internet man to do the thing that's like broken all records on the internet.
"I don't know if they've chosen the correct internet man, I think, hey, we've said it before though, this is the third week in a row where we've gone, what the hell is George going to do with this one?"
He joked that he didn't really know what was in store for this weekend's performance. George continued: "I know as much as you right now, I know as much as you. I know that it's K-pop and it's to Soda Pop." Meanwhile, Alexis applauded him for "taking everything on the chin" and "embracing everything".
People online were quick to share their outrage over George being given a song and film he didn't appear to know. One person on X wrote: "Need to have a word with the Strictly producers because WHYY are you giving George a COUPLES CHOICE to a song that HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW? A couples choice is meant to be a song and dance close to them where they have the chance to tell their story."
Another wrote on the platform: "Actually so annoyed that their 'couples choice' is a song that George doesn't even know. Like, I know they could probably do more with it being a Couples Choice but I feel like a salsa would've been fine for it."
And a third said: "NOOOOOOOO we wanted couples choice to be George's choice so he could pick Arthur."
However, others couldn't wait to see George's performance. "Tt's Strictly, it's gonna be corny at some point. Embrace it." While another commented: "Also, Soda Pop is a banger, I don't care." And another wrote: "Actually can't wait to see George dancing to Soda Pop."
BBC/Strictly Come Dancing has been approached for comment.
